masked man

"Happiness is within. It has nothing to do with how much applause you get or how many people praise you. Happiness comes when you believe that you have done something truly meaningful." - martin yan
Sunday outing with part of my family (:
Slacks and sneakers + town.

Main thingy: the way pearl takes a picture of my parents.

I think this is cute.

My brothers above and below

Japanese dinner at Akashi @ Paragon.
My brother ordered  foie gras (sp?)
He said it's the best thing he tasted in his life.
After dinner he said he still can't forger th taste.
It's $20. Pricey, yes?

that white blob of cuteness looks like those rice buns you see in anime.
well, you don't see it here la. bad angle.

This was my meal. Super good!! I forgot what this is called already.
They gave little rice but alot of beef. And the half cooked egg in th middle was what made it all so good tgt. Price was reasonable and good!
the fried salmon was pretty badly done. so dry.

Okay, out of topic. Why is Singapore getting more difficult?
I heard that if you call for a cab, starting price from $2.50 to $8
which is a 220% increase!!!
what theeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee..

this is the edible gingerbread 'house'
and my sis and i ate bits of the house.
HEHEHEHE i was afraid the cashier next to us would say something
and of course it was STALE

My parents, sister & i ended up waiting for cab whole night.
Comfort was fucking up and there were too many families waiting for cabs.
So, we ended up at Mandarin Hotel having supper not long after our dinner.
(Perhaps this is my talent to eat and eat and eat and not puke yet.)
@ Chatterbox. Apparently expats like to stay in that hotel because of this restaurant's
famous Singaporean dish. THE chicken rice *dramatic song plays*
It costs $27 for just that dish okay!

The rice was a big disappointment, no fragrance one!!
But at least it wasn't oily. It's not worth th cost though.
Perhaps it was just that night their chicken rice fucked up.

Thank you for reading my Sunday boredom post inspired by insomnia.
Smack me with some sleeping pills, someone.. anyone.
